What is the difference between an OBM, VA & a Project Manager?
Great question! A VA supports you by providing virtual administrative, technical or creative assistance. They are the task doers. An OBM is an Online Business Manager – they think big picture and are generally more focused on the daily operations of your whole business to free up your time. A PM is a Project Manager who can plan, execute and deliver your projects primarily by delegating and outsourcing any tasks that need to be completed.
Do I need a team?
Not at all. You could be a solopreneur wearing all the hats (hence why you need help). Or you could need help to scale your business and bring on new team members.
Who do you typically work with?
I love working with purpose-driven creatives, coaches and consultants. You might be a designer, a life coach, a marketer or a nutritionist.Â
Am I limited to the tools you use?
I certainly have favourites that I use and recommend, but I love learning new tools, so let’s chat about what support you need.
Do you require a minimum contract period?
All one-time project work is scoped and quoted based on the requirements. Retainer clients must confirm our services for a minimum of 90 days. I’m also happy to consider trial periods.Â
What if I need a service you don’t provide?
I am happy to assist you in hiring any team member you need and can help to bring them on board. Alternatively, I can refer you to a specialist in my network.Â
Do I have to train you?
Taking on a new team member means you’ll need to spend some time getting them set up and across your business. Don’t worry; I have some tips on how to do this easily. Â
What hours do you work?
I’m based in Queensland, Australia and I work flexible hours throughout the week. My in-office hours are Tuesday to Thursday, 9 AM to 3 PM AEST. However, given the nature of my work and the locations of the clients I support, I can be available outside these hours as needed. If you’re in a different time zone and would like to schedule a chat outside my usual hours, please let me know—I’ll do my best to accommodate your request.
